Our History

MM Comfort Systems got its start back in 1977 as B&B Heating.  Within just a few years, their exceptional reputation led them to be recognized as the National Residential HVAC Contractor of the Year.  In 1993 they joined with a leading Seattle mechanical contractor, also nationally honored for their history of quality dating back to 1965.  

The name MM Comfort Systems was established when key employees purchased the residential portion of the company in 2001.  A few years later, building on 51 years of expertise in serving residents of Tacoma and Pierce county, Heritage Heating and Rite Way Gas became part of MM Comfort Systems and a second location was opened in Sumner.  

With the vision of being the most desirable home services contractor in Western Washington, MM Comfort Systems has continued to welcome other well established, reputable locally owned companies into the brand.  These companies include G&S Heating & Cooling of Everett, Sullivan Heating of Bremerton, Comfort Mechanical of Auburn and Scribner Electric of Kirkland.  

MM Comfort Systems has been built on a solid foundation of excellence. Because of the associations we’ve chosen over the decades, we are confident in our mission to discover and deliver on the expectations of our customers.
