Heat pumps provide heating, cooling and dehumidifying in one unit. They function the same as an air conditioner for cooling, but when heat is required, they reverse operate to provide warmth for your home. An electric heat pump can be combined with an oil or gas furnace which can significantly reduce your overall heating costs. Our Comfort Consultants can help you determine if a heat pump is right for you and which model best suits your needs. Find out more during your free consultation!
Ductless systems deliver cooling and/or heating to specific, targeted areas within the home. The installation is less invasive and can be less expensive because they don't rely on ductwork to distribute air. Ductless systems have an outdoor unit connected through a small hole to a compact wall-mounted unit indoors. Each indoor unit is designed to provide warm or cool air only for the room in which it is installed. The indoor unit can be installed on a wall, in the ceiling, or on the floor. Ductless systems are available for small spaces, such as one or two rooms, and can also be expanded to create up to 8 separate climate zones in your home.
Your Comfort Consultant will explain what these terms mean and help you identify which equipment will best suit your needs.
