Our High-Quality Heating Units

A gas or electric furnace is the main component of a traditional heating system and may be combined with an air conditioner for a complete heating and cooling system. This combination is referred to as a split system.
Hybrid Systems
A hybrid heating and cooling system is a variation to the traditional split system. It includes an outdoor heat pump that allows the option of electricity-fueled heating and cooling in addition to a gas furnace. It’s an energy-efficient and cost-effective way to heat and cool your home.
Ductless systems can be installed in places where conventional ducted systems cannot go or are an ideal complement to your home’s current ducted system. They can function as an air conditioner for cooling only or as a heat pump for both cooling and heating.
For more than four decades, Home Comfort Alliance has been outfitting homes in Western Washington with heating systems that last.
When it’s time for a replacement, count on us to deliver the quality results you expect.

You may need a furnace replacement if your current one:

Is more than 15 years old
Has frequent and expensive repair bills

Heating Systems Come in Different Types

Each type has different levels of efficiency, comfort, and noise.
Single-Stage
A single-stage unit means its operating speed is either on or off.
Two-Stage
A Two-stage unit means it operates on either high or low. The low setting is sufficient to meet most household heating demands about 80% of the time, providing even temperatures. On hotter days, it can use the high level of operation to maintain comfort levels. Two-stage systems are typically quieter and more efficient than a single-stage unit.
Multi-Stage
A Multi-stage unit has a range of operation and is therefore the most precise temperature control option, as well as the option that provides the best comfort. These variable speed units are the quietest and offer the most energy savings.

Help Me Decide

1
Should I consider a heat pump for heating my home?

Although a heat pump will heat your home on moderately cool days,  it is best paired with a furnace to allow for maximum comfort when outdoor temperatures dip below 40°.  If you are looking to both heat and cool your home it is an energy efficient solution, but if you’re only looking for heat, a traditional furnace is probably the way to go for most homeowners in the Pacific Northwest.

2
What’s the difference between a gas and electric furnace?

An electric furnace can be less expensive to install than a gas furnace, but gas is more energy efficient.  This means that you can expect to pay less on a monthly basis to heat your home.  If natural gas is not available for your home, an electric furnace is usually a simple installation and can last up to 30 years.

2
When is a ductless heat pump the right choice?

A ductless heat pump is a natural choice when there is not an existing duct system designed to provide heating and cooling.  A ductless heat pump can be installed in almost any home often at a lower cost than installing a new duct system, furnace, and air conditioner.
