Edmonds Heating Repair Involved Lennox Furnace Replacement Along With System Upgrades |
At MM Comfort Systems we frequently speak with homeowners who want to update their home heating system early in the spring before the onset of a busy summer schedule. This Edmonds heating repair for a regular customer involved changing out their existing furnace so that come next winter, they would have no worries of potential problems.
Our MMCS installation experts visited with the homeowners in their residential 98026 neighborhood and discussed their Edmonds heating repair to determine exactly what was needed. The homeowner wished to do a straight size/efficiency exchange and opted for a Lennox model SLP98DF070V36B gas furnace. Our evaluation showed that a new CP-22 DiversiTech condensate pump were required. We also installed a Honeywell Prestige YTHX9421R-5002 thermostat, and a custom fabricated indoor air quality system.
Our customers wanted to maintain their furnace's garage location; in order to do the installation the MM Comfort crew had to run new PVE through an exterior wall of the home's garage, patching it with metal as needed, and installed their new Lennox furnace after removing the older unit. We left both the electrostatic air cleaner and base can in their original locations. To complete this Edmonds heating repair, our MM techs made certain that all ductwork was insulated and sealed, but the added expense of an air duct test was avoided.
The homeowners were planning a vacation for early May, and asked us to schedule their new Lennox installation for April. Our experienced crew had the work performed and the new system operating smoothly before the family left for their holidays. They were able to relax and enjoy their time away, knowing their heating system problems were solved. This was another MM Comfort Systems happy ending.
