MM Comfort Systems' Commitment to Community
As a locally owned company, MM Comfort Systems employees live in the same geography they serve. Places like Bellevue, Renton, Federal Way, Bothell, Lynwood and Monroe. We have a long term interest in our business, our customers and the local culture we share. Being a respected, contributing member of our communities is very important to us and helps define who we are. As a natural extension of these values we do a variety of things to support and strengthen the communities we serve.
MM Comfort Systems acts in an environmentally responsible manner. Old, replaced equipment is removed from customer's property and properly recycled. Environmentally friendly refrigerants are utilized and properly handled. Waste streams at our office are separated by type (paper, metal, etc) and recycled. Any waste liquids are disposed of correctly and not released into storm water systems.
MM Comfort Systems does the common sense things any person or company would do to protect the place they live and love.
MM Comfort Systems and its employees support various charitable causes with some recent examples including:
- Christmas food drive
- Rainier Avenue Church - divine make over construction project
- Deaconess Children Services - Education / support groups for parents of children in at risk situations (poverty, neglect, domestic abuse, etc.). While the parents are in class, we work with the children, building self esteem, acting as role models, monitoring for behavioral changes, etc.
Fourth on the Plateau Sponsorship
Fourth on the Plateau, the July 4th celebration in Sammamish is growing into a huge local event. In 2008 well over 10,000 people enjoyed an afternoon of family, friends, food, fun and special attractions. After sunset the festival is capped off by some of the region's most spectacular fireworks.
MM Comfort Systems is proud to be a founding, premier sponsor of this important community event.
